Slightly offtopic, but has anyone here heard which components of BeOS that Palm plans to integrate into later PalmOS revisions? I think I heard something about the media server and input server APIs, dunno though.
"Excuse me, sir, but I *must* ask you to think of this laptop as though it were your penis. Would you shave off the side of your penis just so it fit into your wife with less effort?"
(Oh, my, god, that was so wrong. Sorry, but I couldn't resist.)
I think they will have to choose the music for this elevator VERY carefully. I mean, how long will it take to get up there? You don't want people to go insane and stuff.
Although, it would make for a REALLY good tv-movie.:)
Does the Parhelia 512 do dual-head with broadcast-quality TV input/output? I'd like to experiment with that stuff, and a Matrox G450 eTV sounds like a nice place to start.
A Nerd-Ward is something far more sinister. It's where all the old nerds go to spent their final days, after being driven insane by spelling-nazis on slashdot.
The Mango!
... sort of. :) Still needs work. Ah well.
Ya know, I coded a PHP content management system and named it after Mango
I'll have you know that I have an awesome hat.
:)
A tilley T-3. Fun
Oh, and did you know that the majority of the Babylon 5 story lines were laid out before the first episode was filmed?
Umm ... Apple's iPhoto has an "Enhance" button, and I hear it works wonders.
Have you ever been to Tahiti?
And, more importantly, did you bring your stapler with you?

Yup, I knew full-well how stupid the joke was. I just enjoy it.
:P
All your base are belong to us.
In Soviet Russia, PC-Link reverse engineers YOU!
Can it make toast?
... and don't forget OGG. Can it do ogg/vorbis?
Does it run NetBSD?
Can I use Emacs with it?
Oh

That is SO much harder to pronounce. :) I'm too lazy for .sxw!

TGUI9440 PCI? I've got Windows 2000 Pro running on one of those in my mom's machine :)
This puts my Banshee to shame.
... of course, what I really want is some Matrox eTV card ... :)
If I had some actual money, I might grab a Radeon 7500 VIVO
I have a Creative Labs 3D Blaster Banshee (16MB AGP). Bugger off with your fancy-ass video card.
;-)
kthxbye
Wow ... this is like Vivendi ... merging with ... Las Vegas! Imagine the kids from THAT marriage. *shudder*
Well, _anything_ is faster than BOCHS (BeBochs, specifically). Plex86 certainly sounds interesting, I'll have to look into it.
I just have one question:
Couldn't they have called it Flex69?
I'm Canadian. I pity the Americans too. I want Firefly back ... stupid FOX network ...
Specifically, I believe he meant TREMORS: THE SERIES. Although, granted, the word "dreck" does instantly bring that to mind.
When can I get a "MOON" computer?
... oh, wait, that's downtime.
You know, the one with the crack-loading CD drive
And the incredible uptime, thanks to sitting in a chair all day
*scratches MOON*
*looks confused, but entertained*
Carmack really just wants to abuse John Romero's hair.
:)
"Suck it down, Bitch."
Man, I would PAY to see Carmack knock Romero down and dye his hair blonde.
You mean nerd-WAR.

(hilarious hijinks ensue!)
Duron. Maybe I should snarf an XP1800+? :)
... because it cost less than $20 Canadian, and because it's older than two years! I think I might be able to get NetBSD on it, though.
Not to mention bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. (Ooh, I have a Perl hashing function that a friend designed which would make EXCELLENT hashbrowns)
