Won't boot with empty IDE-Zip (non-Atapi!!)

Okay, first of all I have to admit that I did not yet try out either 2.2.14pre18 nor the final one but somewhere between 2.2.14pre12 and 2.2.14pre16 the kernel lost the ability to boot my PC if I do not insert a medium into my IDE-Zip!! I get lots of "Lost interrupt" messages during probing of that device. It's not a show-stopper but unnerving. Any ideas what caused this change in behaviour?
Well, I guess you are messing up "Code Fusion" with "Cold Fusion". "Code Fusion" is an integrated development environment (IDE) while "Cold Fusion" like "Zope" is an web application server/platform.
This reminds of "the PSA, the Python Software Activity, which was originally formed in response to a thread on the Python newsgroup, which posed the semiserious question: "What would happen if Guidowas hit by a bus?" Guido van Rossum still manages most new developments in Python, but the PSA and Python's user-base help support the language, work on extensions, etc. Given Python's popularity, and the PSA infrastructure, bus attacks seem less threatening now; of course I can't speak for Guido..."

So what about a "Linux Software Activity Group"?

Okay, I'm only guessing, but this could be caused by the difference between the full speed level-2 cache of K6-III vs the 1/2 speed one of K7.
The future looks bright for AMD then...

On paper K7's FPU looks VERY promising, and the first benchmarks seem to indicate the same. Let's hope it will not suffer too much when running code optimized for Intel's range of processor.

What version of Windows? w95 has some known
problems with K6 > 300MHz. A patch only exists
for W95B.
xpdf, the free alternative to acrobat reader
comes with a PDF to ASCII converter. You can
find it here:

Another tool is pstotext which can be found here:

Yep, that was SWAN.
Well, the PCI G200 (I have one) works fine too.
Get it here!

Try it out again... This project has developed a breathtaking development speed!
G400 (the dual-head ones) have TV-Out
from day one. No need to wait for that.
Funny... I own one since January.
