Wow! The things Red Hat has to go to to get business! Mandrake is a very viable M$ alternative, and Red Hat is SO afraid of having its businessing taken away. Gimme a break, it's linux! I can download it for free! And you're offering me a $10 rebate? Lol.
Block the ports these programs use! This has been an issue at my school (at which I am a student that loves using the 10 MBps fiber connection for filesharing:D). The network administration didn't even bother to tell us they were doing it. They just blocked the ports. No one complained because everyone understood that it was illegal to use these programs at school. If anybody bothers you, explain the legality problems with downloading warex/mp3s/movies, especially when the school administration can be held liable.

I came to about $420 for an XP 1700+, 256 MB ram, onboard sound (Shuttle MOBO), Geforce 2 MX-200 (32 MB), 20 GB HD (60 GB, and still under $500), CD-ROM (CD-RW for about $50 more), and a new case and floppy...
Sometimes, I just do not understand these ppl! They go out of their way to steal technology (http://be.com) and rule the market, yet they continue to support their greatest competitor in the desktop market? Let's face it, no M$ Office on the Mac, and it is dead!
