  2. I THINK IT IS A GREAT IDEA on National Biometric IDs · · Score: 0

    This country is our place of business. This is where we make our livelihood. People are ripping off right and left. People are being hurt in our cities every day. We not only need biometric IDs, but we need scanners to pick up where we are all the time, plus cameras. The only people who fear technology taking care of us are those who are ripping us off and hurting other people. If you are not that kind of person, you have nothing to fear, and if you think the govt will abuse that power, then maybe you need to get your ass down to the ballot box and take care of your business, like I do.

  3. H-1B Nurses--They Are Here Already! on Is Programming a Dead End Job? · · Score: 0
    H-1B nurses (mostly from the Philippines) are being crammed into the USA by the ranchers (oops, I mean honorable politicians such as GW Bush and Congress etc), the better to help raise more livestock (oops, I mean, the better to serve the public)....

    By the time you get that RN degree, there will be MILLIONS of cheap imported h1b nurses. The other poster was right--you should have bought a house instead of the Vette: the house will only become more and more valuable as the ranchers (oops...polticians) cram more and more livestock (oops, hardworking immigrants) onto their ranch (oops...America). Those livestock gotta live somewhere....

  4. Stupidity of Youth== H1B+exploitation+overseas... on Is Programming a Dead End Job? · · Score: -1, Flamebait

    THe reason your career has disappeared is that you are in a field where the vast majority of your colleagues are young. And they are therefore stupid. Being stupid has nothing to do with IQ. Being stupid means being manipulated. And so b/c they can be manipulated, competition has been brought in from overseas.

    They convinced you youngsters to go to war in decades past, and you went, like cannon fodder, to your deaths in so many wars. All they had to do was brainwash you into thinking that dying in their wars (manufactured to sell their munitions) was the Right Thing to Do.

    And now they have a new war. The Low Wages Labor War. The game is afoot, once again. This time, there is a new batch of propaganda, tapping into racial guilt (that is why they use the Indians as the front for imported labor--dark skins).

    You dicker when you buy a car, so that you can work less hours, or put more of the money from your labor into other things, instead of the car. But you cannot grasp the logic that you should dicker with your labor costs, too.

    Ah, callow youth....

    I agree with him. I can hardly wait until the entire world is transparent, with cameras everywhere...no more lying, no more bullies, no more using secret advantages....bring on Big Brother, I say.

    The only people who really have anything to fear from this are crooks and the powerful elite of the upper crust.
