I want to get rid of the presidency and the rest of the government and replace it with something that is less powerful, yet more nimble in wielding the power it retains.
Zaphod Beeblebrox for president, and for the same reasons too. Nobody who would make use of that sort of power should in any ways be allowed to possess it.
You have helped me identify a flaw in my current process. I will henceforth endeavor to include all candidates in my attempts to illustrate the Emperor does not know where his clothes are.
Trump seems mainly interested in refocusing the American economy toward making stuff for America instead of participating in the vagaries of the world economy. It is cheaper to produce stuff in other parts of the world, but no American politician has any interest in making it cheaper to make stuff here and providing welfare to buy products from the rest of the world is equally taboo (which would devalue the American dollar making it cheaper to manufacture here) so Trump's plan is the best people seem willing to accept to get the jobs Americans are willing to work (not too physically or mentally difficult).
Not an ardent Trump supporter and I think that governments currently have too much power, but I doubt that most of the world has as much interest in America as you do and Trump will be more focused on America and less on the rest of the world, so the world will likely lose interest in America.
While I agree with much of your sentiments, you don't seem to realize how rights work either, (There was a person in another thread that took quite a different position that didn't understand how rights work) If he can find a way to take the right to buy a Tesla car at 10k he has that right. I don't find that likely, so I agree with you that he doesn't have that right, but that doesn't appear to be what you wanted to convey.
That's not how the world works. People are generally so involved with their own problems that pretty much anything the American president would do would not alienate them. In order to alienate someone you have to be a bigger blip on their radar than the American president is. I don't believe in strong government, but Trump has a perspective about focusing on your own little world that is better than what is currently out there. Talk about a European army is a good thing. There shouldn't be layers of government between people the way there is now and disentangling Europe and the US is a good thing.
I created a Facebook group where I take memes that are aimed at one candidate and edit them to say that they apply to both candidates. https://m.facebook.com/profile...
Not very substantial food for thought. All of those things are easy to think of and easy to dismiss with the notion that security through obscurity is really no security at all. If these places are designed in such a way that blurring out aerial photos of them provides any degree of additional security, then these places aren't secure.
I don't like your comment so I am making a comment on the off chance that I get in a comment war which is fun and I believe I have a history of winning. So if a comment war is not fun for you, I suggest you refrain from making any further comments like om yours in the future. Because whether or not a scam is part of Musk's game, being in control definitely is and that is something I can get behind with Musk, Trump, and that kid from "The Maze Runner" and Ender from "Ender's Game" because that fits the pattern too. And if you don't know what happened to people who opposed Ender, I suggest you read the book, because I have not seen the movie yet and I don't know how well it spells things out. Clinton appears to be out of control, so forget her. Obama did do the right thing in standing up to the defunding of government bit, though. I recognize strength and opportunity.
Useful ends... now that's where knowing about Ecclesiastes and Nietzsche come in handy. I decide for myself what I find useful and fully impose upon the world to bring that about. If a God created me, he built those things into me. If a God is perfect then he wants for me what I want for me only is better at knowing the whole situation. If aliens come, I will be useful to them in some form and they will share resources with me. Of course there is the possibility that this me will die, but the universe is a big place and I feel there is much certainty that another such as me will crop up. A portion of the universe will reflect my will.
Oh, I don't expect anything from"everyone". I expect some people to find some value in some of the things I do some of the time. But if nobody found any value in anything I do at any time, it would be no skin off my nose. I don't care what anyone else thinks is acceptable. There was a story about an app that people could use to indicate that they gave permission for people outside thier little group to sit with them in school and my first reaction was that when I wnt to school, I didn't ask permission to sot anywhere I wanted, I just sat. Someone got a problem with it? If they did it didn't get anywhere. I don't deal very much with the concepts of legitimacy or the adult world. Nothing ever gets very far in getting in my way and you can throw anything you want my direction and I will make you sorry you crossed that line. Throw any accusation my way and I m not sure yet where to go with that line yet but it sure started out impressive. You remind me of the Vocaloid song Wildfire which says to loook upon your face brings down the human race, on their knees, on their knees saying "please spare mercy". But then there's someone just like me on my knees, on my knees, saying please more gasoline. Well, it seems both you and me like some variation of gasoline. But who do you think likes the biggest flames? Want to have me repeat the question?
I wonder how many people are a little miffed about these people getting credit for their innate curiosity and how many give them credit for giving them the curiosity that was in them all along.
Everything I've read seems to indicate that it is an unsubstantiated rumor that Trump said any such thing about nuclear weapons.
They were talking that way before Trump came along. You just weren't paying attention.

Well then it should never have been allowed to get that way and disentanglement should be the order of the day.
Just what do you think a right is?
You have helped me identify a flaw in my current process. I will henceforth endeavor to include all candidates in my attempts to illustrate the Emperor does not know where his clothes are.
So, I gather you support Trump then.
Hitler's speech tactics do not figure substantially into why he is considered one of the worst persons in history. You could try some perspective.
Vote C'thulhu. Why vote for the lesser evil?

Last time I checked Musk was a person and corporations were composed of persons.

A person has whatevr rights he can take and this is a rigt I really want taken. You don't understand how rights work.
Only if they can get Google to agree with that decision.

Infer whatever motives you like. I don't like the reality this law creates and want it gone.
I for one believe in the rights Tesla is fighting to uphold.
