Are we not all against the DMCA? or is taking a stand against it an act of terrorism?
If one to sacrafice their liberties for security he shall recieve neither, I don't quite remember the author, nor do I remember the exact wording, if anyone does, would you post under please?
I'm waiting for the day M$ includes a clause in the EULA that says anything written with it's office suite is the sole property of M$, to license, redistribute, and charge a lot more than it's worth!
putting this under the microsoft headline, i mean, i know you don't like them, but it's hardly fair to them, apple is doing it too! hatred is only successful if you annihalate them without being partisan.....
Today I just got my license back after a two month suspension for the graduated drivers license in Iowa. One ticket, 65 mph in a 55. How anal retentive. Yet I know of a 25 year old who got his first drunk driving last week, a mere $500 fine, which I would have paid to keep my license for the last two months. With yet another monitoring 'feature' There will be more 18 year olds without their license....I'm not too fond of this idea............if I didn't live on campus, I would have had a lot more trouble, for one flipping speeding ticket
food for thought, 802.11a is pre-history
on
802.11b at 22mbps
·
· Score: 1
the cost of upgrading all of our equipment to 802.11a was astrnomical, if this is compatible with 'b' we could do our access points and all new network adapters slowly phasing out 'b' in a much more cost effective manner
video games hit their peak on the SNES.....FF3, chrono trigger, lufia...............the list goes on............super mario world was great, and ontop of that, you had mario all stars, come on, 8 bit action with enhanced graphics
and we all know we can play them on any number of SNES emulators on PC, so.....why not stick something useful in the board, like a brand new athlon xp a half gig of ram, and any rom you can find...............just make sure you own the game before downloading the rom;)
i've set it up for my mom, grandma, sister, and uncle.........and myself.....lots of free calls
being a poor, geeky college kid doens't leave much money for family communication, the dorm is too small, i want to go home..........i also want to take the 10mb connection with me!

You're quite right, but if you remember, it was to protect your privacy, or something similar to that. So no one *else* stole it....
