You are using one set of logic for open source and another for Excel macro's/scripting. If someone wrote something the business relies on in Excel at that company they are going to have the source for it. They can pay someone to update it.
I removed a higher power video card from it, the motherboard looks fine and Windows had no problems on it. (My guess is re-installing Ubuntu would have also worked.)
The video card (an NV6800) overheated and died. I pulled it out and used the onboard (ATI smth or other). Computer boots, get video signal. Try to watch a video -> kernel panic. Random things would cause it to lock up as well.
Paint.Net comes to mind. The old Paintshop Pro was good for it. Real pixel artists often go for ProMotion. Here's a link: http://www.cosmigo.com/promotion/
I read that the maker of the 3G chips HTC uses has a chip that can do both T-Mobile and AT&T networks. They just "released" it so it might take a while for a refresh of unlocked phones that can do either network.
I believe MS has a free virtual machine available for testing IE6. There's absolutely no reason to need to keep a machine with valuable info so far behind any more.
Flash has been shown running full speed on other devices. iPhone 3G/2G already have low battery life when playing games. If Apple doesn't open up, people are likely to notice that Apple products are missing functionality.
That may be the case, but Adobe showed Flash 10 running full speed on other devices. Apple most likely wants to lock out Flash because it steals away from their revenue. Apple would no longer get a 30% + $100/yr take on selling them in the Apple App store.

5-9 are still applicable, as well as 15-16.

My TV supports 1080p 120hz and it's from 2 years ago.

I've had Ubuntu break after updates and a failed video card. Superior is not the word I would use.

"Slow" for all values of > speed of iPad.
The iPhone is only capable of saving pictures in general. See an mp3 on a web page? Can't save it.
I didn't even talk to them. I had a plan already and just bought a phone and changed out the sim. You can buy sim cards & plans without a phone.
You can buy an N1 without a plan, which is what I did. It's not going to be as cheap as a low end iTouch tho.

It's a good thing those web apps can run 3D and high performance graphics processing... oh, wait...
Examples.......
The SMS vulnerability makes up for it in my opinion.

This is exactly what I was saying.

Both of those things are not the defaults. This is a discussion about defaults.
Interesting you should say that... as IE sandboxes plugins by default. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd346862.aspx
You can still set the indentation. They are merely merging tab size & indentation.
If you need to go back and comment out some lines or something then spaces will screw up and tabs will not.
..if (something)
..{
//....int blah = 0;
//....void* v =
....something = false;
..}
void foo(bool something)
{
}
From what I can see, MS fixed up the exploit in 2006.
Don't forget that the AT&T data plans are not unlimited. They'd likely be seeping off your available data usage.
