Poetictech has some nice looking desks...they start at about $1500 for the base model, and run up to about $4500 for the high-end models with air-conditioning and indirect lighting sources.
Strap on a 20" flat panel LCD's and you've got the perfect workstation for your VIP...who will set the resolution at 800x600.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the "Ads by Google" banner ad at the top of Budget Linux CD listed 2 competitors?
I have one of these little babies, and it weighs in at just over 3 lbs. In order to acheive the light weight, you sacrifice onboard floppy and cd-rom, and are stuck with 800x600. And it's a PIII 400MHz, so it won't be the zippiest thing around. But, it's tiny, easy to carry, durable, and runs Mandrake and Red Hat without a problem.
Granted, I am a noob with Linux, but what about using the XP laptop as a remote via a wired/wireless connection and PC Anywhere(w/WINE), or VNC? That's what I've been doing....
I run 2k/Mandrake 9.1 on my laptop and use WiFi to contol my XP desktop across the room via PC Anywhere.
BTW--Deep Space 9 looks good on a 21" Viewsonic CRT.

1. It could be connected to stereo via "Line In", RF modulator, or cassette -- can be used in anyone's car, with the right adapters
2. Uses standard 3.5" hard drive -- easily swap for another drive, uses USB 1.1 or EIDE for file transfers
3. Portable mass storage device.
Here's the link.
