very large system requirements! sorry, couldn't resist posting. i'm not a huge FF fan, but i am exposed to it every day. my friends created a freakin' paramilitary and named it choco. everything they do is choco this and choco that. but chocobos don't matter in this post unless they will be in this new FF. if i decide to purchase this addition to the FF series, i would barely be able to play it. 64 MB video card? my GeForce 2 MX 200 came with.... oh, nevermind, i thought it was only 16 MB for some reason. sorry. ok! ya, that was pointless. but if they are gonna make the system requirements so high, i think everyone should get really really pissed if it sucks really really bad. and it better not suck. that is all i have to say. thank you.

  8. uhhhhhhh on MTV Movie Awards Webpage Pull a Lone Gunman · · Score: 1

oh my gosh. this post has multiple purposes. 1) i don't care about mtv. i only watch it to see what artists i can rip off by downloading music. 2) yes, i was one of the people who were saying, "oh boy! lookee here! mtv fouled up and posted results online!" but then fellow slashdotters have opened my eyes to see that they were already online to begin with! 3) i saw like 40 "first posts". how many first posts can there be?! i thought there was only supposed to be one first post! and i saw like 10 different versions of the results. as if cnn and mtv didn't have the results already, /. has to carry them too. anyway, in closing, we all need to post faster to see who can get first post, we all need to stop watching mtv and turn on a friggin' radio, and we all need to be more conscious of the results for stuff.....

  10. to swear or not to swear? on First, Do No Harm - A Hippocratic Oath for Coders? · · Score: 1

again, my two cents. though i am a beginning programmer, and a crappy one at that (HTML leaves me high and dry, but i am expanding fast), i still have basic ideas. i think programmers should take an oath to not program anything destructive, unless confronted by the goverment. now, if they are nearing the border, i think all programmers should type a 5 page report (at minimum) on why their program is not a hazard to users. ah, but what do i know? now i want my change (view sig)

  11. my 2 cents on Cyclic Universe a Possibility · · Score: 1

ah, i don't believe in the big bang theory or any other theory of universal development, if you will. i'm a devout Christian, and i would hope you all know what i believe. i'm not looking to pick a religious battle with anyone. i'm not gonna start quoting scripture and fire verse after verse at y'all (pardon the southern slang) from genesis all the way to the maps. i like to keep an open mind about things, but i won't change the way i believe. after all, the big bang theory is just a theory. but i sometimes just laugh at what somethings science spits out. please don't attack me verbally! i am weak!
