And why should you want to? Heaving lifting of dead objects is for unmanned rockets.
IIRC, one of the reasons those items went up on the shuttle was because the rockets weren't capable at the time of carring a large, hubble-sized, satellite.
There are times now in traffic when I get that unimistakable urge to just pull into the oncoming lane to pass some slow moron in front of me, or to pull the guy who cut me off out of his car at the next red light and lay a beating on his ass.
I know exactly what you mean... sometimes it's so tempting to swerve over to the right and just nail one of those pedestrians...
That and GranTurismo... I drive an 'exploder' and after I play that game... woo woo! (It doesn't actually go fast.. I just like to pretend it does... although the engine (read fan) is so ridiculously loud, I keep thinking I should be going fast...):|
I always got scared playing that... it was too quiet... I was always expecting someone to come out from around a corner shooting...
The worst part was that my brothers would always come in and scare the shit out of me.:o

Actually, I'm libertarian... so I'm definitely not in favor of excessive defense spending. I don't recall ever saying I supported spending excessive amounts of money on the defense budget.
I agree with you completely. I never said we should be spending it waging useless wars. I merely think that we shouldn't give hard earned money away as free handouts.
Why spending money on unemployed people is equivalent to socialism?
Because that's what socialism is. It's the state sponsoring people who don't have jobs. The USSR, China and N. Korea aren't socialist as much as they are dictatorships.
They've gotta develop this for home use - I have 3 kids under the age of 14 months. I barely have time to go get the mail, let alone stay outside long enough to mow the lawn and take care of weeds...
The solution is fairly easy... just let you lawn go to shit for the next couple years, but train your kids to be master weed-pickers. That way right when they start being able to move under their own power, you'll have three, free, weed-pulling 'machines'.
...is for adults. They have an M rating. They are not for children. When my nephews visit me, they are not permitted to play my GTA games. We rent a Spyro the Dragon game or something like that if they want to play a video game.
Exactly! This is what people need to realize. It isn't the responsibility of the game devs, govnernment, or any group to censor games, movies, songs, etc. It is the responsibility of the parents/legal guardians to ensure that the children in their care aren't watching/doing/listening-to things they shouldn't.
I was like: "HUH?". Then I remembered I was doing an experiment with Mozilla where I set it to UTF-8 and then I see how messed up by browing experience was... So far this is the climax...
Which leads me to wonder... what's the big deal with all these foreign languages? English has worked fine on the 'net for the last 10 years, so why stop now?
Wow, both modded as trolls. Wonder what half-wit(s) did that, and why.
Probably the same ones that will be getting you shortly...

Did the sequel to that ever come out?

neurostarThere is nothing a shuttle can do that soyuz + iss can't, and then some.
I think you're a little mistaken there. You'd be extremely hard pressed to see a soyuz put hubble into space, or chandra, or any of the ISS modules.
neurostarThere's only a handful of schools that offer similar programs, but it might not be long until demand makes such schools more commonplace.
Are there really that many jobs in the video game industry to warrant a drastic increase in the number of schools offering degrees?
neurostarI think we've just found a new entry for the "World's Least Effective Pick-Up Lines Competition" held anually in Reno, Nevada.
Of course it's held in Nevada. If the line fails, you hit up the whore-house down the road.
Repeat to yourself: "Location, location, location."

Agreed. Vote Libertarian. That's what I'm doing as part of my solution.

neurostarWhy not spend that money on getting the 8.8 million people that are currently unemployed some jobs?
Because then you risk spiraling into socialism by doleing out tax dollars...
Note: I'm not trolling, I'm serious.

neurostarI was under the impression that Mickey Mouse was a trademark (renewable indefinitely) and Steamboat Willie was a copyright (eventually expires).
neurostarThen it doesn't sound like it's in the public domain to me.
Steamboat Willy isn't the same as Mickey Mouse
that's kinda funny... i'm getting 580k/sec...
neurostarI've felt like the show has been slipping all season...
Woah! It's still on air?

neurostarWell, I was browing along and came across a post which said:
It??? only??? takes??? one??? click?????
It??? only??? takes??? one??? click????? is? a? registered? trademark? used? with Jeff?'s?; permission?. Unauthourized? reproduction? is? expressly? prohibited?.
