After a few years of trying to find the solution to this problem, I looked at my miniDV camera... I was happy to discover that people thought of it before (http://tech.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=03/03/03/0246245&mode=nested&tid=126&ti%20d=137&tid=106). Same as tape backup, but no need to purchase more (expensive) hardware, if you happen to use a miniDV camcorder.
Even if you don't, those are much cheaper than "real" tape drives.
The issue of (un)intentionally wrong info in wikipedia is not that simple, especially when it provokes attempts to clear its name. Let's not forget that wikipedia is _made_by_users, therefore the responsibility for its content _stays_with_users. The problem is, when you try to make a manageable, branded product out of wikipedia, you will always have problems with "lack of reliability". Ultimately, the model can be reliable up to a certain level, and should be evaluated from that standpoint, and branded/presented accordingly.
I worked in text editing for a lot of time, and have become a firm believer in a concept where arrow keys for left and right were below the space key, right under your thumbs. I think all text-editing people out there, at least those that don't use Vi, would really appreciate this. But I never saw it. Did anyone run into something simmilar?
