1ms ping back means the objects are close
10ms, the objects are too far away, handshake failure.

"Just a routine stop sir". Then you play twenty questions.

The last time was because of my black passenger. He was black, you see. We must have been up to no good.

During my younger days, I was pulled over once a week because I drove a nice sport car. I had the police on a harrasement charge for that.

Been pulled on a bike too, and I'll admit I was on the pavement.

For the record, m'am, five points and £600 fine for driving down a bus lane and through a red light. All quashed at a later date through police and CPS incompetence. 'effing useless, the lot of them.

"Tickets" are unusual. "Producers" are common and a pain in the arse.... You must attended a police station of your choice within the next seven days and produce your legal documents as stated below. So it says.

You've either been lucky, drive an average car, or have never carried a black passenger.

    I disagree.

My very non-geek friends don't use it. They're old school and prefer the phone and knocking on doors. My not using Facebook is seen as normal to them.

The middle ground associates, who think everyone is on Facebook, often look puzzled when I tell them I don't use it. You can see the thought process going on: Inda doesn't use it, and he's Mr Geek, why doesn't he use it? Is there something better? No one asks though. They've learnt not to talk to me about computers as I'll carelessly take the conversation to another level, and that that alienates everyone.

It's changing - slowly changing. Keep nudging. Keep suggesting small changes. People will follow if you don't go full geek.

My father was a joiner and cabinet maker. He made kitchens, and desks, and wardrobes, and bedside tables. Never windows.

One day he was asked to make a window. He had all the tools, all the materials, but the knowledge and experience was missing.

He eventually made the window. He gained the knowledge from a secondhand book he bought for pence at a bookshop.

This is also true for myself. I have woodworking skills that would top most peoples. I can scrap wood to a 0.02mm tollerance. I can turn wood on a lathe to the same spec. I can work all woodworking machines. I can name all the joints and some I made 20 years ago still slip as they were designed.

I cannot make windows though. I would need a book for that.

Skills can be transfered. Knowledge can be gained. More news after the weather.

One forum is handy because it shows page views. Those page views for this crap game were no higher than any other game. In fact, just like all the other games, page views were less than a couple of hundred.

Unless I'm missing something, and with my 15 years of warez experience I doubt it, I don't see piracy on Android as a big issue. I have a few gigs of warez on my phone, only a bluetooth transfer away, and yet people aren't that interested. With rapid bug fix releases, pirating on Android is actually a pain in the arse (pirated versions don't connect to Play to update automagically).

99% of the apps on my phone are ad-supported or free. Let's keep it that way.
