The hell you say MAME's success is correspondant on rom distribution websites? Everybody involved in the emulation scene knows that decent romsites on the WWW have the longevity of a snowball in Hell. My prime source of roms is IRC and WinMX and romsites are a last resort.
Outlawing or restricting their use according to the whims of the RIAA makes about as impractical and stupid as outlawing or taxing water to prevent drowning.
A better analogy would be to tax tap water so companies like Evian won't lose revenue.
"I understand that you're being sarcastic, but what I don't understand is how they can make this argument. How does Free Software violate existing proprietary intellectual property rights."
Because Microsoft is not accustomed to competition. It's easier on their cerebrums to declare a opensource "anti-american" then to make their own products comparatively better.
Pardon me if this post is redundant (too lazy to read the comments) but every P2P prog has a preview feature that lets you hear the first few seconds of an MP3 after downloading a few hundred KB. Spoofing is far more effective on.avi vids and software and as every Kazaa user knows, it is way overdone. I wish I had a nickel for every shitty sports game renamed into Medal of Honor or GTA3 and spread thru P2P.
...to a point at least. The best memories I have of the original series involved being completely surrounded by waves of monsters. Back in 94, that was only possible by using poorly animated 2-D sprites. The next generation of FPS games compensated for lower enemy numbers by making them uber-powerful.

You would think the studios have already learned their lesson from the Jar Jar and Scooby Doo atrocities. :sighs:

They've got D30s now?! The most "sided" official DnD die that I know of is D20. There is a D100 but it's the size of a handball.
I've been using Mozilla for a year now. What are these things you speak of called "pop ups"??
