Doesn't matter. The way things are right now, if a bill is sent through by a **AA-sponsored Democrat, the president will blow the dust off his veto pen and use that puppy. If the same bill is sent through by a **AA-sponsored Republican, the Democrats'll make sure it never gets to the presidents' desk for his signature. Thus, legislative gridlock until 2009 or so.
There were a few other differences between the two trials. Some evidence in the criminal trial was disallowed, which was permitted in the civil suit. Jurors for the criminal suit had stated that if they had been allowed to view the evidence for the civil suit, they would have returned a guilty verdict.
Another quote-this one I found at the bottom of the page:

If something's for sale, and I purchase it, I would like to believe that it's for my use. Example. I purchase a car. Mine to drive, modify, and use as I see fit. I don't have a rep from Ford checking to make sure I'm using only Ford Approved Parts, and ready to tow my car away if he finds I'm using something that doesn't have the Ford Seal of Approval.
I have no problem with paying for something that I find to be useful. I have a problem with buying something that has its' usefulness to me curtailed by design.
When I have to call my Microsoft Mommy and say "Mother May I?" to install something new in my computer is going to be the day I finally get off my ass and switch over to Mac.
And don't forget to sudo.

Yeah. That's what I get for not putting in the tag.
Anyone else think this might be the make-or-break for the clickthrough EULA?
IANAL, YMMV, etcetc.
