An earlier article on the BBC said they didn't have space suits, so EVA was not an option.
Personally, I remember reading about "rescue balls" created at the begining of the shuttle program when I was a kid. I wonder what happened to those.
Peltier elements are usually good for a 70 degree difference in temperature between the front and back of the element. So, if it's 100 degrees on the hot side, it could be 30 degrees on the cool side. Ahhh, on a 100 degree day, wouldn't it be nice to be in a cold office?
Lemmie get this straight: you want to go from shorts-and-t-shirt weather to below freezing? What are you, a pengin?
If you had bothered to read the MS KB article link provided by the BBC, you would have seen that all of the "hidden" information is clearly visible when veiwing either the options or the properties of the document. The article even explains how to clean out any data you do not wish to be displayed.

Um, that would be a photo of someone in a burned out tank. While DU is favored in part for its pyrophoric effects, that guy was roasted by good old fashioned fire. A fire which may have been started by a DU penetrator, but the fuel would have been chemical propellant and diesel.
If a human was hit with any 120mm APFSDS penetrator at combat ranges, there wouldn't be much left, whether or not it was made of DU.
Sounds like a personal problem....

Because it's more fun if you can let your enemies bleed to death?

So just how much do you think the government would have to raise taxes to support your plan?
