Our KC Wi-Fi project was killed because of treacherous cable and phone companies. They don't give a damn about the poor or the casual user. They want broadband and internet access to be only funneled through them. They also know that regular/pots and cable tv is dying. What they are doing by buying up politicians is TRUELY criminal. More so than someone robbing a 7-11. Thats right. White collar legal crime is happening right now .
They work for the present presidential administration. They only hand down rules what Bush wants ; that is to help out the biggest campaign contributors.

Another reason is that MANY DIRTY U.S. companies now LIVE/work there for their CHEAP labor . Do these companies Lobby/buy out their local congressman. Sure as hell they do.
There is also some secret geo political shit going down we never hear about such as the Taiwan situation. There could be a deal for allowing China to dump as long as they don't invade Taiwan.
The day hard drives are replaced by 'solid state' technology will be the end of the frustrations not to mention the last chain of slowness of computers.

All these new teen shows on the alternative networks are the big ratings getters because of 'teen girls'. Purely a niche play.

Maybe consider doing what we in the USA should have done,that is put a limit for XP installations on OEM computers and copies at the store . Make it like only 50% of the market to repair the os market from ILLEGAL monopoly practices.

My only question is from reading another article on Slash is if the internet protocol tcp/ip is right for high speed video since the internet architecture was never intended for it.
Like running old cnc machines or some old databases for warehouses. They probably don't need new operating systems.
