Just an idea but why not implement some form of exokernel with linux so you can install or uninstall modules on the fly ?

Another idea which maybe offtopic is the use of another language other than C which causes all the buffer overflows(security problems).

Does OpenVMS have any of the problems Linux or Windows has ? No , because it uses languages like Hp ADA which has bounds checking.

They belong to corporate america and are dispensed by the FCC which is under the control of corporate america.

Radio was a nice way to deliver 'censored' and 'politically correct' information to the masses but....

a new competitor has arrived. It's name is Wi-Fi and it scares the hell out of the cozy 'good ole boy corporate-government' network at D.C. because it costs them $$$ for all that spectrum they paid billions for.

It's just a matter of time before public pressure forces the SELLOFF of the corporate radio networks back to the government or some other WiFi businesses. Nobody wants one way RADIO anymore.

The FCC should NOT be in the position of selling spectrum to the highest bidder. It should be handing spectrum to WiFi networks where it will be used alot more efficiently and help serve the most people.

Another small point is that most Star Trek fans could always expect to see beautiful women on the show. But not anymore. They took the hottest chick and turned her into an adrogenous man-woman. If they would have had any sexiness to Jolene Blaylock that would have converted to a couple of 'shares on the nielson ratings'. I would have stopped channel flipping if they costumed her anywhere as hot as her mzxim or stuff layouts.
