If Apple would upgrade its graphics card to something more professional rather than a consumber ATI card to something much more powerful to take processing away from the chip to the card then it could help its graphic benchmarks. The article 2 days ago on Slashdot about the new video cards was very interesting about their ability to do more than process graphics. The General processors on most chips are not that great for graphics. Since apple uses simd so much then why not use a some affordable chip and a KILLER Graphics Card that can handle some of the math too. just a thought.
Too bad. No one heard of NEON,on the other hand everyone knows of the DBZ series. A computer 3d series of that would have been penultimate cool. Someone mentioned a hollywood co. bought the rights for DBZ.

Read the article again and look for the page that says "non traditional uses". You will find that these graphic processors are programmable vector processors that are excellent at mathematical operations.Also look at the uses of gpu by Colorado university and their attempt to break linpack record. We don't need Intel/Amd anymore!
Yes it sucks to run java but no one uses java applets anymore. The killer app is java server side ecommerce. It's beating Microsoft so we should like it!

The spiderman movie had 'targetted demographics' to get women to go to the movie. I would bet private screenings for women to see if they liked the movie and if they didn't some script changes. Maybe.
Does Matrix ripoff other movies like DarkCity ? Darkcity sets were used in Matrix. Rent Darkcity to see what i am talking about.
