    ummmm...I don't think that to the copyright holder, you can be considered responsable.

    people like you have some odd thought that you have a moral right to this stuff.....you don't.

    if you buy a copy, then you have the right to have an unencumbered MP3 or any other format or media that you wish to shift it to. however, folks on lime wire are stealing......I think this is a good balence between the government taking away all my rights and stoping illegal activities.

    well, becasue the tree huggers who want to save forests went too damn far, now there are 200% more trees in the forests than there were 150 -200 years ago....IE, 200% more fuel to get those flames up to crown fire tempraturs so we can have more efficent ways of burning millions of acers of forest.

    the USB spec has generic drivers that are available to everyone. the drivers include talking to Opticle devices, talking to block devices, mice, and keyboards.

    perhaps MS realy is trying to be more open and inclusive.....

    or perhaps MS is just so damn sure of them selfs that .NET will cause more folks to be locked into there platform that they do not care who the hell gets to be in the party since they will all be smushed into a tiny little corner with none of the hotties.

    what orwell was against was totalitarian rejims...stolinism is just one....IngSoc was not stolinism, it was a capitolist democracy that turned into facism, ad then deeper into totalitarianism.

    Orwell died a libertarian.

    what is wrong with 50% profit? most manufactured goods, out side the PC industry, are at a minimum, a 40 % profit, but to be a good product, you want a 60-70% profit.

    the PC industry will consolidate in a few years, then you will see PC prices rise to a more sustainable profit margin...like 20-35%.

    I do not think that you will find anyone refut that the copyright crisis is a bad thing....however, even if copyright were placed back to its origional integrity, taking the copyrighted content off a physical media is stealing.

    people pay for the content, not the material.

    when was the last time you bought a book for its properties as a toilet paper dispencer?

    information is worth somthing...however, it should not be priced indefinatly.

    I mean, if you make the law, then advertise it and run lots of ads on it, 95% of the people that use Morpheous and others will stop becasue they are "law abiding" AKA, follow the law as long as they can get caught.
