Here is the feedback I sent:
"The plan is entirely unambitious. With the utter lack of technological know-how we had in the 1960s, Kennedy proposed that man set foot on the moon by the end of the decade. Within 10 years we accomplished this amazing feat. Now Bush wants to maybe send someone to the moon in a little OVER 10 years? Give me a break. Let's get a fully staffed lunar base up and running in 5 years. Let's spend all the necessary money to fund the final stages of research required to make the carbon nanotube fibers that would comprise the cable of a space elevator.
Bush's plan is insulting to the collective intelligence and ingenuity of the human race."
As a measure used strictly with multiple truancy cases, this may be useful. However, I disagree with forcing it on the whole school population. It assumes everyone is guilty. This is actually quite similar to Pressplay vs. The iTunes Music Store. Apple doesn't assume everyone is guilty of piracy and thus allows a reasonable amount of fair use to take place. Pressplay is like this Buffalo school district and assumes everyone is a pirate, restricting fair use rights.
Time, Scope, Location, Consideration.
How long? Forever.
What does this apply to? An entire industry.
Where does this apply? Anywhere in the United States.
What did Apple Computer gain from this agreement? The ability to use the name "Apple."
Was the consideration Apple Computer gained in proportion to what they had to give up? I don't think so, especially with the way the music industry has evolved over the last thirty-plus years.
Anyway, that's the criteria that will be judged in determining the validity of this non-competition agreement. It will be fun to hear how both sides spin it.

You might want to note in the text on the main page that the article gives away the endings of a few good books, some I have not read. How disappointing. The author of the article didn't even give a spoiler alert either.
SHAME ON HIM!
Who are you to decide that these manned missions aren't worth the risk? This isn't your life we are talking about here. It is the lives of the astronauts that are at risk and if they consciously decide to take that risk, that is all that matters. Your opinion, in this particular circumstance, matters little.
Programming Logic...Many colleges have courses just like that where they do not get into any specific language but instead discuss the very topics you brought up.
would really work if they *gasp* made a version compatible with the system that HALF of all public schools use. It shouldn't be that hard to port the linux version over to OS X. Microsoft is just laughing at Sun for forgetting about HALF of the computers in schools.
