Yup, that works fine if you only have one window open. That's why I made a point of making it clear that I often end up with multiple windows open (lots of 'em) with tabs in each. Hard to find the source of the noise in that case.
I have a bad habit on the PC of leaving tabs open and coming back later to finish reading something or start following links. Often I end up with multiple browser windows with multiple tabs in each. It becomes a real problem when some damn auto play ad or news story starts up and I can't even find which window it is in to shut it down. So now Google is setting up Android so that so that the browser will play unseen videos in the background. Nobody wants that!
And if you're thinking "I could run music on YouTube in the background", get a clue. You can already play background music with apps like Pandora or Slacker or several Internet radio apps, and that will waste much less bandwidth, data and battery power.

Actually Obama illegally traded terrorists to get Manning returned to the US and free of his fellow terrorists. I see no reason to think that Obama wouldn't also pardon Manning for his high crimes, including desertion and possibly treason. If the problem is that porn is being left on equipment when a user is done I might suggest simply resetting and rebooting the device after each use. That would be easy enough to do with one or more simple sensors and should be done for the security of all users anyway. If it is that Google doesn't like what the users are using the service for, I would suggest stop spying on your users.

Sure, the car has batteries, but all of the laws of science still apply. The voltage is still lower than it is in the homes they fight fires in, and you don't get electrocuted by touching one exposed contact, particularly if you're wearing thick rubber boots.
So the other countries are building cyber weapons and our great leader (and yes, I know that I would be modded down if I suggested that he hates America, no matter how eloquently I made my point) has decided to avoid an arms race, meaning that the others will keep building weapons to shut down our infrastructure, our power grid, our water and transportation and our financial system, and likely cause crippling damage to machinery and kill tens of thousands of people in the process, maybe even cause a nice meltdown, and our leader will just keep apologizing for America and not study the technology, not find ways to defend ourselves and not fight back. Ain't that nice.
