Russia and China are generating way too much CO2 considering their relatively small contribution to worldwide economic activity. They are the countries that need to be made more efficient, not the United States.
Yes and they have agreed to try to be more efficient, but the USA refuses to.
(and if all the other download stores succeed & iTunes fails, eventually we will have the situation where MUSIC=WMA.)
Which I think will be bad.
And how would you crash test this?

If you had to crash test every conceivable variation of seat/engine/body panel/dashboard the costs would be prohibitive. If you didn't safety test each combination, no-one would buy them & no insurer would insure them.
Also, the Dell comparison is silly; cars are an order of magnitude more complicated than PC's.
I use Omniweb under OS X to access my HSBC account (without masquerading as anything else) & it works without a hitch. HSBC may not be perfect but I highly recommend their online service.
By the way, I agree with all those that believe any browser should work. We have standards for HTML; you code to the standard, not the browser!
I think you're getting confused with the Stepson regulation act; which is due in 2008.
The Stetson regulation act is not due until 2010.

Then you must be American...
Americans want to be able to talk to people through their PDA's.
Here in Europe we seem to want to be able to take notes on our phones.
I guess that eventually the distinction will become blurred.
Third that.
