For as much as people on here bash "religious zealots", 99% of the religious arguments on here are not started by the "religious zealots". Well, eventually, if they are around they would find combinations that form protons, neutrons, and electrons, and miscellaneous elements and then our world. Ok, don't have much time, but this http://www.thebigview.com/spacetime/universe.html is the first link I found. It says people aren't sure whether the universe will expand forever or if it will eventually contract. Seems like expansion and contraction would help make sure the elementary units get mixed up sufficiently that they could form the combination that they are in today.

So we will be right where we are now. Oh well, I'll finish this post then.

I didn't buy my house new, so I had to run all my own cable and I did so by pulling up the baseboard, notching the drywall behind the baseboard, and renailing the baseboard back up. What you might even want to consider is weather or not there is more than one location where you would possibly put your TV, if so, I would run wire to the places where the speakers would have to be for the other TV location and have them come out where the other TV location would be. Also have them put a couple Cat-5 runs and extra coax taps to the places where the TV could be.

For cable TV, the best solution is to just use the Firewire port out of the cable box. I have a motorola DCT-6200 and it sends all the broadcast HD channels out of the firewire port unencrypted (and I think law required it to stay that way). Whats also nice, is that the channel of the cable box can also be changed via the FireWire link, so no IR blaster required.

With differential signals, as the signals that travel over Cat-5 are, you want twisted pairs, not flat cable. I believe sales tax is really a "Sales and Use" tax. Meaning that you are supposed to pay taxes in the state you use the item you are purchasing. For instance, I believe if you are a Maryland resident and purchase a car in Delaware because they have no sales tax, you are required to play taxes on the car in Maryland because that is where you USE it. Now I believe there are other stipulations too, like if you paid more sales tax in the state you bought it in then you would have paid in your home state, you don't have to pay taxes to your home state.
