Why am I not living in the leisure society and own a flying car? Economics have a hard time catching up with sci-fi apparently. And few people with real money dont want to let go of it for the benefits of the many. News at 11.
Games being cross platform has meant they need to deal with the pathetically low specs on the current consoles
I am so sick of this argument. The reality is that brand new overkill pc is a small fraction of the potential market. Not everybody likes to spend their spare money on toys. I for one prefer to invest it to have nice early retirement...
Aeons ago, I upgraded from fudjitsu 3600 rpm to WD 7200. That took my computers to another league. Today, it is nice to to have something faster, but frankly, lean software makes more difference.
Ok, I will bite. I experienced the good stuff when I went through surgery. The stuff I had was far from addictive, really tuned for killing pain and not addictive at all. For your information, it was from the hydromorphone family. On the other hand I had some friends from my childhood kill themselves after being addicted to powerful illegal drugs. I cannot wait to see how it will help those societies in the long run. That being said, I fail to see how you really responded to my marketing moral analogy. Good luck being a troll, let me know how it turns out for you.
Do you think it would be legal to run ads for drug dealers? I mean, you don't deal drugs, just list the dealers and their pagers! Some of them may just de dealing crummy homeopathetic medicine, but you know damn well most of them would be selling coke and meth. I think it still sucks the balls off a dead moose, but we have to really think about the moral implications instead of just crying "Not fair! I liked it!".
Shiny new things are not exclusive to Apple now... the youth want it on the servers too. It is very sad, descent to hell if you ask me, but happening. Where are the bearded *nix admins!
With a robot?
What about Cinellera?
Ok, compare lxde and kde on a vesa driver then. It still prove the point I wanted to make before you cherry picked this scenario.
Aggle? Daamit, it sound like such a good match.

This! Now Google, please run a trial somewhere in Canada, in the eastern part if possible. Our broadband choices are real crappy.
I am talking about the whole installed base. Not the offering. Plus the PS3 with it's many cores can kick some punch in games...
Look at this! http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/package/xorg-edgers/precise/main/base/xserver-xorg-video-intel A driver for i845 chipset. Not install this and try lxde on it.
So, PCs more powerful than a PS3 really makes most the installed base? I dont buy that argument.
Lightweight means, runs very snappy on hardware less than 12 years old without discrete GPU...
Maybe local business needs local advertising, not global worldwide adverts... just maybe.
Sure, and everybody throw their pc every year and replaces them... the market is much larger than you.

Two words: Stockholm Syndrome...
What about blackbox and awesomewm? Are you shades of grey blind?
My idea of lightweight do not include unity or any recent gnome desktop. compare against xfce or lxde... anything else is uselessly fat and slow.

Where did I said I ran a medical study group? Yes, my opinion is based on my experience.

You can have it, I will let you deal with the weekly DEA inquiries ;-)

XFS, well balanced, fault tolerant, well tested, and very mature under many loads. Please do not take my words for granted, test it for yourself.
Use FreeBSD for storage... no brainer.
