From what I've heard, open source games are easy to cheat with. If you can modify the source code then you can certainly cheat with it. This is an intresting area of thought and yes I have seen people cheat on open source games by modifying the source code.
I don't really know my self as Ive only tried one flavour of unix (Linux). But different distros are similar though and I can easily manage Different flavours.
Try and stay with similar families of unix such as BSD based unices or Linux so they will have similar ways of working together.
Over I think it would be easier to switch to a single flavour such as Linux to make things easier than trying to manage different systems.
According to the register, Freeserve won't be affected, which is good because thats the ISP ive been using. They provide a really fast connection for a modem (which is good) so it seems that those AOL lusers will get punnished for using a rubbish provider.
Come on slashdot! Why don't you put on something intresting. Like how Microsoft got complaints about its shocking X Box adverts in the UK. Or one of those wacky webservers or even another photo tour of a factory
So what if you seen a memory factory. We don't want to know. Ive been in a server room before but I don't take pictures of it and send it to slashdot! Come on, 99.999999999% of the slashdot readers don't even know how to Install RAM, let alone make it!
What next? Photos of CMDRtacos house?
Slashdot, News for photographers, stuff thats in jpegs.
Its meant to be secure. It just won't work that way. You could try using an account without a password and auto login, but your using the wrong tool for the job!
Its still too slow and bloated and its too little too late.
Come on, its really not worth four years of work. Tabbed browsing was a feature that could be good but other browsers have it too. Other tabbed browsers include Opera, Konqueor 3.1 and even lynx/links ran in mutiple ttys.
But the mozilla project has released something better than their browser, and thats bugzilla. Ive seen open source software that use this have their bugs killed really fast.
Slashdot erases history! Look at a old archived story and you will see that the trolls have been stripped!
First KNPQwest, now Starband! Whos going to be next? (I hope its Microsoft).

Looks like I'll have to use my modem forever. Oh wait, I live in an area without broadband anyway.
Can that hammer smash a block of itanium without breaking?

Suse Does that, check out their firewall on cd. Its a firewall running of of a cd.
That slashdot will use apache 0.01 with perl 0.01 and slash 0.01 with linux kernel 0.01?
It uses kparts. It uses a kpart called KHTML for its rendering engine, which is used throughout the K Desktop Enviroment.

Overall, Mozilla its not that great.
I go and do something else when adverts are on, I use pop up blockers. I do a lot to stop unwanted adverts and its NOT ILLEGAL!
Kick those hollywood losers where it hurts!
