Yes, those motherf**** use their degrees and knowledge to kill, harm and destroy the infidels instead of helping their "brothers" to relieve poverty, build and make a better life for them in their shithole countries. they give a damn for the degrees, it is just a weapon to fight the "infidels". Their goal is to turn back time and live like 1000 years ago in the darkness of the middleage. Those engineers are happy in Afghanistan/waziristan living in tents in the middle of the desert

  7. US on Man Pleads Guilty To Selling Fake Chips To US Navy · · Score: 0

Is the Navy kidding? are they stupid? Why buy electronic components from unknown/obscure brokers who sell crap made in foreign countries? Why not buy directly from AMERICAN MANUFACTURERS, there are many: National Semiconductor, Freescale, Fairchild, just to mention. Or some other reputable manufacturers like Philips or Toshiba? Well, i'd rather buy from reliable american companies when national security is a major concern! It looks the Navy does not think so.

Of course, you have to be open-minded and love new techonolgies, if not, forget it.

  11. Drivers on How To Request Better ATI Linux Support · · Score: 0

It is sad NVidia guys wont release their drivers as open source yet, but i can do with it. I stuck with NVidia, always worked well from 1st time for me since Millenium Edition and Linux RH 9 (or 8?) days. And still do with XP. So, up to know, i give a sh** if the drivers are not OS, as long as it is: $0, works fine, get support and newer releases pretty often. But, yes, better if the drivers are OS! So why change to a unrealiable manufacturer? e.g. ATI

I work at a huge company. My 512MB RAM, P4 CPU notebook takes about 10 minutes to startup due to huge logon scripts shit, corporate antivirus, firewall, antispyware, and lots of additional useless services activated by logon scripts and unable to turn all this crap off. This is really annoyng, sucks and pisses my off way too much. And i do have to turn it off to avoid hardware problems. BTW, an old RS6000 server in the company took 15 minutes to bootup.

Yeah, i agree, the problem is not IM, e-mail, phone et al. After all, you can turn off or unplug them :-) The big problem is like my current IT job. Open boxes, a big room with about 30 people. Most of the time they speak and lough loudly, make meeteings all over the place, showing off, yell at each other instead of walking and so on... It looks more a party than a work place. It is really disgusting and completely disturbing. Believe me, my most productive time is when i have to work late at night or during weekends, with NO one of those assh**** around disturbing.

The only thing annoying is that after some minites of inactivity, it takes a long time to "come back" I only use IE for the crappy work intranet and some other annoying websites made with MS-proprietary shit

I really hate the IE crap.
    - i got tired of spyware, adware, hijacks, malicious activex & ocx shit, and whatever crap you imagine.
    - it is bloated
    - completely unstable
    - i got it infected with any kind of shit which makes it clog my system and eventually freezes mi system all the time (Even running spybot, ad-aware, spyware blaster !!! there's no way to clean all the fuckin shit)

I switched to Mozilla. I use it 99% of the time. Man IT ROCKS!
    - secure. no spyware. no adware.
    - stable
    - lightweight (not bloated at all)
    - fast, a lot faster than IE

Anyway i have to use IE sometimes in order to correctly display pages with proprietary MS shit which causes pages not to display correctly in Firefox, for example when filling tax forms for our local IRS.
