Just use an RF keyboard like a Gyration (http://gyration.com/). The mouse, while not part of the keyboard doesn't need to be used on any surface. Nice and compact as well.
Sure Dell with windows can undercut HP w/o windows...they make cheap chinese crap that shits the bed a year after purchase.
Not that i'm going to buy a PC from either company...I can build a better PC for similar price and pick whatever OS I want on it.
You can either find yourself a damaged laptop off ebay and strip the parts out of it that you need or you can get yourself a soekris board - downside of those are that it's going to cost about $150 each...
Good luck.
Do musicians make their money from album sales - HELL NO! What albums do do, is get a band's name out there to the people who buy concert tickets.
The production costs of an album, often paid for by the band, are generally paid from their portion of album sales. Once they get that hit, they go on tour and make $15-$100 per ticket.
So if Madonna and company are going to whine about it. Apple can pull their albums off the site and they wont get any of the $$.

Yeah, royalty free until the RIAA uses the DMCA to arrest everyone that bought it.
