One computer mishap that I had over 10 years ago is that above by Mac LC III my coworker had a plant, so he watered it and it went through the planter, monitor and into the computer. The tech mentioned that there were some waterspots inside. The LC III did not grow by the way;-).
At my company due to political problems we went with Satellite from Starband. One thing to lookout for that could cost money is the actual installation. Starband is sold by dealers who in our case also installed the equipment. We have a two way connection and it does work ok. We do get a megabit down and about 120-130 up which isn't too shabby. Sometimes you will lose a signal now and then but it does recover. I would have to say it is an overall positive experience. The one place you will take a hit is FTP. Because of how FTP works it can take a while to upload lots of little files. But other than that I have no real complaints about it and hope we do get Road Runner installed in the summer.

You use the right tool for the right job. Linux is not the end-all be-all for everything, nothing is. I enjoy using Linux at home (Mandrake 8.1 on a K6-2/350 with a GeForce 2 card) and I also enjoy using XP at work and at home on another computer. I won't give up my Dreamweaver;-)

I'm glad I'm not the only who found a bug on a couple of sites that use DHTML. Other than that 1.2 seemed to be very nice to use. -Pat
For me it's the right tool for many jobs and I don't have time to be a sysadmin at home. I also enjoy my games too! -abase
