IANAE(conomist), but isn't this flawed logic? If he only had to do $70 worth of work to get my $100, then I only had to do $100 worth of work to get the $142, so we're still talking about 30%. Otherwise, doesn't it become a vicious cycle if you just keep chaining services and tax rates together?
(it's been a long day, so my logic could also very well be flawed. Something just seems off about your calculations)
I'm not sure if this will help you out, but this utility plus any old bootdisk made mine bootable for running things like BIOS updates and diagnostics. If only all systems could boot to USB drives, my life would be so much easier...
A little vinegar is fine (especially with certain things...I've never heard of strawberries, but that's beside the point). These guys were talking about drinking it like you or I would drink water (or soda or juice or whatever) because it tasted so sweet
I read a great article in a Bio-Psyc book of mine about some scientist-types who were doing research on it and found that drinking vinegar is really good after eating a couple berries. Unfortunately, their stomachs weren't too fond of it later...
So, there's a good chance your tap water is someone elses piss
There's also a good chance that your tap water is a dinoasur's piss, a neaderthal's piss...hell, it might even be my piss. Your tap water has probably been more places than you want to think about.
Agreed...Sprint should should let people know how to do this, and personally, I like your idea of leaving a blank to for a personal password. I was thinking that it would be useless for Sprint to give out random passwords because they would get a hundred calls a day (which would slow down Sprints already poor customer service...but thats just my opinion) from people who lost their password and need to know what it is. Oh, and to the person who asked me to elaborate on my disliking of Sprint, they have managed to 1) not disconnect the phone from the last place I lived, allowing the next tenants to run up a $200 bill that I am now responsible for, 2) have yet to change the name on the bill in my house, even after 3 separate phone calls, and 3) always manage to transfer me no less than 4 or 5 times each time I call and try to straighten out the aforementioned screwups. end rant
As much as I don't like Sprint, it's not their fault that people aren't changing the default password. If people don't change it, it's their own fault if they get burned.
The guys name is Wang Wang?! His parents must have hated him.
But seriously, it's nice to see them doing this. It's a shame that they're planting trees and shutting down factories for the Olympics (as opposed to just wanting to clean things up), but if that's what it takes, so be it.
Does anybody know how expensive OLEDs are? If they can be sprayed on using inkjet printing procedures, could I just paint my whole house (or at least my roof) with them? Probably wouldn't power much, but it couldn't hurt...
Standing for something is always better than standing for nothing. Apathy never wins.
