Chandalier and vanity lights are typically transparent, not soft white. The soft white fluorescents are more pleasing than the spiral type, but they still won't work situations where a transparent bulb is preferred.

These are all nations that have experienced violence or war from the 'religion of peace' in the last 10 years - in many cases before we invaded Iraq.
Look at recent history - some Danish guy draws a comic of Mohammed, and the Muslim world goes ballistic. Then the Pope says Islam is violent, and they go and prove him right by rioting and killing nuns.

Regardless of how flawed exit polls are, the dichotomy indicates a problem unless public behavior radically changed (and I don't think it has).

So the exit polls that showed Kerry winning Ohio at 5 pm on election day had a disproportinate number of democratic voters (seniors, stay at home moms, unemployed, etc). A disproportionate number of republican voters voted after 5 pm.

Not true. First, salaries are not twice as much in the bay area as other places. You might make 80K in the bay area, for the same job that pays 70K in Portland, or 60K in Boise. Second, prices are cheaper outside of California. Sales tax in California is 8% and it is 0% in Oregon. Or compare Gas Prices in San Jose and Portland. It's cheaper in Oregon, plus we have attendants that pump the gas for us.
