  1. is *that* bad? on "L33T" Speak Invades Schools · · Score: 1

    Is it really that bad?
i mean, would'nt it be a good idea to teach the other generations how the tech generation speak?

  2. Re:Oh no. on Lindows 2.0.0 Released · · Score: 1

It's netscape who is comming with AIM, and Lindows comming with NS, not Lindows comming with AIM.

  3. My thoughts about patents on Online Auctions Patented, eBay Sued · · Score: 1

I think this patent buissness sounds somewhat strange. Patenting software is patenting a problem, and it's solution. ... then it should be possible to patent opening doors? I mean: Problem! The door is closed. Solution! Open it! Then if someone were to patent the actually door-knob turning process, technically everybody would be sued. o.O Another sick thing is the patenting of genes, I mean, everybody got genes, and only one company is allowed to research in several of them. So they can sue me if i start to study my own frickin GENES? i mean OMG! That can't be possible! What's next? Someone gets a patent on seeing? Or hearing?

  4. Dificulties on Images and Screen Shots of Zaurus SL-A300 · · Score: 2, Interesting

Actually, using linux on a non-keyboard device could lead to some difficulties, If you, for an instance, run into problems on an ordinary PC, you simply CtrlAltF[123456] into terminal mode and kill the troubling application. But what if you run into this problem on a PDA? My opinion is that linux is not linux without a proper keyboard.

  6. Re:Nautilus... on Is There Such a Thing as "Too User Friendly"? · · Score: 1

Its sad... I mean, its a really good idea... you dont actually *need* to put up with the simplicity needed by a person who calls support to turn on the screen using that method (how on EARTH did these persons manage to install linux?)

  7. User friendlyness soooo sux! on Is There Such a Thing as "Too User Friendly"? · · Score: 1

Goddamn userfriendlyness sux, i think the world should go back to the stage of apps like 'vi' and 'ed'... The second thing i hate is them sounds... What do they think an OS is? Some kind of elevator? Playing brain-dead music parts when u start it! And the worst part is those "Are u really really really really really really really really really really really really really really sure you want to quit? if you are not, please visit www.microsoft.com/newbie/i_dont_get_a_thing/im_bra indead/i_was_born_yestaday/HEELP.htm to get support" ish messages... I mean, where are we advanced ppl going to go? Even linux is starting to get user-friendly... My nightmare vision (in 5 years): "Kernel compile blaha.blah-bla Are really really really really [you know the drill] really sure you want to compile? If not, please dial 01-800-BILL-GATES for support"
