Exactly, but many people dont bother with securing their computers, they just like it simple.
Anyways; isnt it some statistic of a XP SP1 Machine takes only 4 minutes to become a spam drone? lol, thats security:P
Microsoft isn't so bad... in my opinion if they help the enforcement is the open-source development of better email protocols.
AOL isnt so bad either, they too are changing for the better giving their members virus scan for free...
So, maybe we ought to hate them less, and give them a 2nd chance...
I'm a PC (Win/Lin) user, and I'm thinking about changing over to Mac.... lol, I'm not that cliche. But I might consider learning more about them.
They are nice powerful beasts within. They'd be nice to have on a Folding Farm.:D
Much like spam filters, it will work for about 70% of its intended targets, the remaining 20% will either be legitimate returns/purchases being "flagged", and the final 10% would get away with it, with "new" techniques.
I dont care, if I get denied to purchase something in a store newpaper will hear about it, so will my blog, and I wont shop there.:)
I have high doubt of any massive legal action from these idiots. You can't stop piracy, they induced it by having high exorbitant pricing. I stongly support the Apple's "$1 a song" thing built into it's media player. That is a nominal fee.
Anyways, I still use kazaa, and I have no fear. They wont prosecute me. I can say I didn't authorize them to penetrate my firewall to scan my ports for file sharing. I remember seeing a news article stating since the recent threats from the RIAA, sharing went up 11%. I hope their threats backfire.
Let's keep sharing!:)

Not surprised.... Even if we elected Kerry, Bush would still win either way.
