If you have a clockless computer than doesn't that mean everthing is running at the same speed and if that is true doesn't that mean good for the computer world??? If you think about it that sortof means that everything is going at the same speed which means no more lag in any of the programs we run as well that means that when something on the computer goes down then it may cause major side effects on the systems timing sending the whole thing out of wack? Oh well it does seem for the most part a good idea, every syustem will run a hell of a lot smoother and faster.....
Here is a link for all of you to read up on the possibility of this whole situation. http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_2 59000/259347.stm in this link it discribes how the poduct works and the possibility of future hard ware.
If you actually take a close look though think of the possibilities of it!! If they could make it writable then network admins could use it for complete network backups instead of using multipul cd's!! And think of it as a gamer-how many multipul games could you store on that? As well for comp techs like me where I have a dozen cds for my collection of programs I need to work on systems I could put it all on one! This is a little extreme with the amount of storage but still it is a great great thing and look to the future for holografic hard drives and other stuff like *VIDEO*! I great thing!!! Just my.02 cents.
Why oh why does MS need to take control of anymore companies???!!! There already own almost everything.... where the hell does the monopolization rules come into play????
What then does an optical mouse use? I assumed that the light at the bottom of a mouse was a laser that reflected the light off the mouse pad or desktop back up so that the mouse could be used in the same fasion as a sonar.... it made sence to me, could anyone tell me where I can read up on the science of the optical mouse?
Even though this story waz printed twice it is still cool...think of it.....well now have just found Bill Gates' long lost grandmother!------- The missing link!

The only problem I have with this whole desusion is the fact that I had heard that it was linked to Terrorism. Ummmmmmmm everything has been linked to Terrorism............my Grandma yelling out the door screeming in a psycotic manner about how her garden died was b/c of terrorism, "Those damn terrorist used chemicals to kill my garden!!" Get over it!
Is it just me or is this remind any of you of MS Win XP! Sorry but IMHO this looks like Win XP where most of the stuff hasn't changed it just looks "Prettier" every body knows that XP was just a pretty GUI and it looks like this is too.
Plus the way I see it is that the only real reason they put this out is b/c they want more money and the only way to get that is by putting out prettier versions with no real reason too...
Just my $0.02
Hey look! How many companies give out their software after a period of time saying that we can all have it b/c it is out of date!!!
Second of all look at how many people have already cracked Warcraft3!! Um if the want people to actually buy the products them stop being so stupid and either 1) giving them out or 2) making them so damn easy to crack!!!!!!!!
