Don't worry, now that the hub's been mentioned on slashdot it'll be shut down in a few days. Doesn't this happen to ALL the hubs eventually at our school?

  3. 18 months to go on Boston's Big Dig Finally Open · · Score: 5, Informative

The Big Dig still has another 18 months and projected 1 billion dollars to go. Today was just the opening on the southbound tunnel.

The tunnels did NOT cost 17 billion. There is a world reconized bridge next to the fleet center, many new buildings, subway lines and bus lines running because of this project. I know the budget seems to be absurd, but when looking at all they did you can see where some of the money went.

    No No No.

The entire point of the article is that iChat looks MUCH better. Did you even bother to read it? It spends 20% boasting about the quality of the video.

  6. the sat channel problem on Mac PVR Coming Soon · · Score: 1

As somebody mentioned before, there is a big problem with this unit. It can't change channels on a sat or digital cable box! This is the one reason why I wouldn't get one as I need something to replce my ReplayTV box (RIP mobo from replayTV). All it needs is a external IR extenter to change channels on the sat or cable box, and that shouldn't be too hard to implement. Saab
