    Those wimps that wean off of it are weak and lame. It takes balls of steel to just throw all your M$ warez away, reformat your hard drives (yes, all of them and with no dual boot!) and install Linux.

    Oh the pain of it all, but it's such a wonderful thing. I tried the Betty Ford method several times and never made it. I have a friend that's trying it that way and I checked on him today. He slipped and the Linux box I setup for him is gathering dust. "Yeah I played with it a little last week, I'm using the laptop mostly but I will get around to it.."

    Bullshit. I ought to go to his house while he's gone and throw out all his warez and reformat his drives. HELLO!! No more windoz for you!!

    I used to work in a TV studio many years ago and there was one camera man that was seriously sick. He kept a personal library of death videos, car wrecks, murder scenes, you name it. I think he probably masturbated to this stuff considering how excited he would get when he got new footage of dead people.

    Sad to say it but there really are some sicko's out there...

    I just got rid of my teletype a few years ago.

    I had a full system Burroughs B700 and a full B730, terminals, drives, cpu's, manuals, everything.

    You booted it from punchtape so you could then load the OS from those UFO sized disks..

    I saw someone had written an app to scan papertape in on a flatbed scanner and decode it to a readable format.. So, someone did find a way to timetravel and get papertape ascii art back from the otherside.

    (someone also figured out a way to scan LP's in on a flatbed scanned and convert the scanned image into a playable mp3)...

    I also listed the number of Linux installs I have here (numerous) and the number of Linux installs I am responsible for in the field.

    And when and if they sue me, I can't wait for them to try to collect. I'll go to their office and put a steel toe boot up the ass of every mother f*cker in the building. That will be my payment to them..

    You'll find all sorts of stuff..

    BTW, that was just an observation.
    I use torrents to get new distros, getting them from the official
    ftp sites is impossible when they are hot off the press.
    BT lets me download 3 ISO's in less than three hours..

    Someone, please, let's drop the use of this terminology except when refering to real viruses..

    I have another one too that's pretty much the same but it begins with trolling4spam@ and it's a dead giveaway.

    They both actually function and I do get mail through them. But they allow me to discover who gives out what and how far it spreads.

    They also allow me to finetune my spam filtering system.
