I think all guns can be assualt guns, if used to assault someone. For example, if I bean someone on the head with my black powder 1858 New Army, it becomes a Black Powder Assault Revolver. As opposed to shooting some SOB dead with it, then it's just a weapon.
You make me laugh. Black powder revolvers are way too much of a PITA for criminals to want or use. Show me links to black powder pistol homicides after 2004...
Systems architectects are a real profession and are not software developers. Also, there is a kind of software development that IS engineering, such as the type Linux kernel or BSD or Apache server project team does. That includes design, source control, testing, and QA processes. It is much more than just development.
You're confused, user input/accounts/logins/uploads on web sites existed in the mid 1990s. Hell at time I wrote web based interface to my employer's document management, groupware and CADD system, all as Perl cgi.
Didn't you get the memo, subsidized phone service for the poor started under Reagon, was expanded under Clinton, and under George W. Bush came to include cell/wireless. google "lifeline" program
I wouldn't hold out Apple as example of leader to follow for stable init or daemon system; my work macbook pro is still screwy booting after yosemite upgrade. We won't even talk about the plist files for daemons for mac osx server, or how they sometimes get ignored
Lets say you have a laptop that is on one network and goes to sleep when you close it and arrives in a hotel room on another network? How would you do this with init without some serious hacks?
You don't, you open your laptop in the hotel room and select the new network. Was that so hard? why in the hell do you think the init system should be involved? You do show what's wrong with the systemd design philosophy, that's for sure. I'm glad one of the crappers of needless complexity has resigned. One down and a few more to go, and maybe Debian will be a good distro again....
and here in chicago sometimes the moon is brown or orange because of pollution. I'd wonder how well the glass does in rain passing through fumes of oil, unburned gasoline, coal ash, industrial solvents, etc.
wonder if I have the lungs of a smoker from all that shit, though I've never taken one puff....
Ion engines fire ions at tens of thousands of meters per second, your squirt would have a few meters per second. The momentum change of the ion rocket firing same mass of gas is thus greater by factor of ten thousand or more
because those countries are all islands in the middle of the ocean? they don't border countries that would love to flip the western world the bird? guess again
nah, it's a cultural thing. I've found in my travels at least half the world really doesn't give a shit if a woman breastfeeds in public. Would you rather listen to an angry hungry baby?
wrong, developers of your bloated Gnu/Linux distro of choice are using OpemBSD project code to compensate for lack of ability in key areas such as security.
well I just hope in the future NASA does the ethical thing with its excess jet fuel and dumps it into the water table rather than selling at discount to large corporations
You are so busy being a pontificating numbnut you missed the sentence in the wikipedia article about relativistic mass

Web 2.0 is just a meaningless marketing phrase, that "bubble" never existed

it's not diamond nor did the original paper claim it was: http://www.nature.com/nmat/jou...

I think FreeBSD is great for a desktop BSD, but for servers the simplicity of OpenBSD is even better
They usually use xenon gas, assuming room temp in spacecraft by whatever means that's about 250 m/s.

freezing rain and snow might make a mess too

since there are no such robots, yes. The "self-cleaning" glass does need hosed down every now and then, not totally self-cleaning
, windshield wipes cannot and do not clean the entire window; you are silly

You are funny and ignorant. You will not "control" a months old baby. Half the world does not have the money to waste on the "tech" you mention.
Not true, open source is only possible by laws regarding copyright. Those can be changed by law or by courts at least.
a male might find most parts of a woman's body as sexual. get over it.
