*yawn* this is the kind of crap I'd expect to see on typical consumer electronics fanboy site
for something the size of a laptop screen there comes the point where the exact thinness of the bezel really doesn't matter; we've past that point in a prior year
Rust? how an I going to call into the nifty set of C++ libraries built up for my profession over decades? I realize young weenies love to think they're smart enough to roll all that from scratch but of course in reality between the bugs, misconceptions and lack of experience they'll screw things up.
best stick with something that has solid and deep foundation
sorry but writing a kernel in C is too complicated a problem for even the smartest kernel coders to handle, they've made hundreds of horrible mistakes over the years. the kernel teams doesn't always know what they are doing. kernel is a rube goldberg contraption.
most are just cameras on wheels and lack limbs with degrees of freedom, so they're ill suited for either cooking or being a sexbot. Get a woman, they can even wash themselves too.
haha, no mess would be made since plenty of people deal with both kinds of languages. Note the biggest bugs harming our infrastructure today mostly made in the 0 based ones, hmm. And it usually has to do with bounds
I never said anything about seeing or not seeing positives.
But there are a few bad design choices in C cause no end of troubles now. And the design of C++ as a semi-OO language with a turing-complete macro pre-processor is of course garbage. Stroustrup set the cause of OO languages back a couple decades when he squatted and crapped that abomination out
No, these young alarmists "scientists" don't account for it for they didn't use control soil sample. they're an embarrassment to the cause of lowering carbon (and radioactive ash) pollution
oh you know a magic tire sealant that works in the temperature ranges the outside of the ISS encounters? that's about 130 deg C to -160 deg C by the way.
No, there is no truth. Overproduction causes depletion of nutrients in soil. Nothing to do with co2, just greed driven creation of low quality products in quantity.
Wrong, there is no reason the compiler couldn't deal with that while having arrays of size N go from 1 to N. The pointer then points to the location of index 1. There would be no problem.
You're just aping the C mentality with your hardwired inflexible brain, plenty of languages start array indices at 1.

he just likes them smelly and unbathed, basically we're talking french and certain former soviet country women here.

fiat currencies have been around for a thousand years.
all cryptocurrency is a failure as money, it's a game token

big difference between a gasket and a liquid sealant that would flow into a hole in the temperature extremes of space.
god the level of technical ignorance in a supposed tech forum is astounding
nothing misogynistic about saying a ridiculous and unrealistic man-hating point of view is stupid
it's fine, more than 7 / 8ths of people can't code anyway so it's not like anything much would happen
Oh so advocating aborting fetuses is hate speech. Got it, thanks!
So your definition of non-asshole a feminazis sjw with army of manlette followers?
perhaps you should check out the fact the "tenure is dying", the percent of tenured professors has taken a nose-dive.
College is big business, high paid employees are bad for the bottom line.

Australia? The land down under uses different euphemisms

There is no such magic material.
that's what Austrian porn stars are packing, right?
the is america, and to quote David Letterman "on American television, you can prick your finger, but you can't finger your..."

sure I have, made my living with plenty of the 0 index based languages too: C, C++, Objective C, Perl, Python, PHP, Java, Ruby
well there is lua too, another index at 1 language. proving there is no necessity for starting at 0, the compiler could handle mapping to memory

uh huh, and most bugs in C programs are from the geniuses who somehow think they've mastered the size and location of things... but they fail
Neophyte? I was coding before most here were born. Let's see, old languages, ALGOL, PL/I, ForTran, COBOL, RPG, SmallTalk...used 1.
Sure, plenty of others used 0, like LISP
eh? most science and tech budgets fell under Obama though he promised doubling them. Hilary would do differently?
