You lie! Nothing is worse, or can be worse than Highlander 2.
I still remember talking my girlfriend into going to see it in the theater, raving about how great the first one was. I read a review that trashed must be. I thought I was watching the wrong damn movie for the first 20 minutes, and was in shock after that.
Why would you put a 7200rpm JB drive in a Tivo?!?!?!?
That's extreme overkill. All you need is a cheapo 5400rpm drive.
Not just overkill, but dangerous (for the drives anyway). 7200 rpm drives generate too much heat for a TiVO chassis, unless you add an extra cooling fan.
Yep, when you mentioned ugly current product, I knew the Aztek had to be in there. I'd really like to know what kind of person buys a car/thing like that.
Well, you missed the point of the response (read the subject line).
'With its robust 42-volt electrical system, the car is configured to run any number of devices in the passenger compartment, from homes to entire farms.'
Okay, I guess I shouldn't have expected anyone to actually follow the link. Here's the teaser:
Pre-PMA 2002: 00:01 EST: Foveon has today announced a new, revolutionary image sensor called the X3. A traditional digital camera sensor works by capturing just one colour (red, green or blue) at each pixel location. These individual pixels are then combined in software to produce a full colour pixel. The X3 is the first sensor which is capable of capturing full colour for every pixel in its array. The X3 does so with a special photosite which is measures different colours at different 'depths' within the silicon. The first camera to use the new sensor will be the $3,000 Sigma SD9 D-SLR (Sigma lens mount), Kodak have also shown an interest in using the X3 technology.
Strange. Many (most?) progressive cities in California have recycling programs where they will pick up recyclables at your curbside. They're usually specific about what kinds of plastic I can toss in the recycle bin, but it's better than nothing.
True, I don't get paid for it (on the contrary, in Walnut Creek we pay for the privilege) but it's worth it to keep it out of landfill
In the future, more robust Atlas 5s are expected to take almost two times the payload of past Atlas 3s, or slightly more than four tons of cargo into geostationary orbit, which is about 22,241 miles (35,786 kilometers) above the Earth's surface.
From Lockheed-Martin:
The Atlas V family is designed to lift payloads up to 19,000 pounds (nearly 8,700 kg) to geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO).
So which is it? Let me guess. Someone at CNN saw 8700kg and thought that was 4 tons...
Radiation from RTGs, is that what you're talking about? I don't think many (if any) satellites use those -- they're mainly used for probes (ie: Cassini). They're powered by Pu-238, and I don't think you'd find too many people eager to leave that lying around.
Read the whole article. His chief complaint about
other one handed keyboards is the unnatural position that you have to place your fingers in. After looking at the twiddler 2, I can say that looks pretty damn uncomfortable. Oh, and drivers shouldn't be an issue since the thing is a PS/2 keyboard replacement.

If you look at the PCI-SIG home page you'll see a little animation mentioning that "Board members are members of the following companies...".
Guess who shows up at the top of the list when you follow the link?
Chair
Tony Pierce
Microsoft Corporation
Well. That explains a lot.
Any 5400 rpm drives will do. Too bad Seagate doesn't make a drive like this (spindle speed + capacity), but Maxtor's have worked well for me.
I use mine for recording every single episode of Maisy ever aired.
ah 10 planets! all the more reason the US should use the metric system!
...Shouldn't that be 25.4 planets?

c) Start over with compotent people
Would these people be able to spell?
I'd expect so, but do you think maybe he was referring to someone who could cook a fruit based dessert?
Aigh!
Okay troll, you win. What do you suppose you get when you combine the hydrogen with oxygen in a fuel cell?

Hey wait! Maybe they meant an ant farm?

Dealing with super high-res images is a pain, and is overkill anyway.
Give me a consumer grade camera with one of these.
Why of course we all a...whataminute...You are not a member of a terrorist group? Ah. I see. Okay guys, I think we've found our mole.

The Black Widow (.pdf only, sorry) by AeroVironment doesn't hover but it's designed for just such a purpose.
I'd be happy to get either one for my birthday, thanks.
