i agree 100% with you. If you use your phone responsable than you shopuld be able to use it in a car. If your not than a cop can already pull you over for recless driveing. What gets me is people dont even care that there ruining it for the rest of us. come on people turn your phone off whan you go out to dinner or movies... Now why is it legall to have a tv on well your driveing, anyone been behind one of these new card/trucks with the tvs mounted in theam so that the passangers (driver would never watch tv well driveing) can watch tv, well if you've been behind one you know they are the worst invention in the world and should be outlawed right away. you get blinded by this right light shinning back at you and you pull your hair out as the driver keeps moveing his head to watch it causeing his truck to swerve around
forgot to add --- ever hear of sony support agent on all sony pcs for about 3-4 years ---- well it calls home/scanes all files on pc// and -- automatically repairs (damaged ones) replaces (missing ones) all files originaly sond with the pc by sony --- so altering or deleting the files wont do any good -- this is dependent on theam useing it this way and not just selling it to all software venders for use in there softwre also
i agree it really cant be considered spyware as they tell you up front about it but spyware is also told to you in some deep dark elu agreement so it all depends if they make it very open or hide it in a elu somewhere
firewall my best guess from dealing with sony software and support is (and only my opinion not sonys) they probaly included it in one of there software programes that comes on all there pcs or included it into the win media player and it would be sent back via one of winxp's back doors like the "generic host process" or other software that requiers updates for codecs thus forcing you to give it internet access and sending the data back to big brother --- i'm more consered with what they want to do with this data is it internal use or externail marketing -- also did anyone read the elu agreement for a sony pc (probaly modified the same for any oem pc) but the microsoft agreement is modified buy oem's to say something like " you give us the right to enter your pc with/out you'r knowledge and view or alter your files" -- look closely its there on most recovery cds the first thing you see --- you do know that whan you update with microsoft they let the oem know
what about sony? they didnt make any of the lists. but they did make anouther report saying there notebook support was poor ( above gateway hp and compaq) anyone actually register with consumer reports to get updated info? please share.
i can see going part paperless. but what happenes whan the kids leave school? I still to this day look back at my text books and notes from class for some info. No one can remeamber it all (at lest not me). S do the kids get to take the computers with theam? do the get full access to the schools data base for the rest of there lives (at the cost of some collages this should be)? ------ And the big one how will a teacher know if a kid is wirelessly sending data to anouther student ? humm this would have been usefull to bring my gpa up
i would be more than happy to pay 1 cent for each email i send throgh a usps email account. think about it if its a usps account its protected buy us laws ie. postal fraud (NO MORE SPAM) i think more and more people would sign up for this type of account knowing that there would be no/ or very little spam mail we could all still keep are regu. email but a spam free regulated email account would suit me just fine what about you?
ok i'll buy into this. from now on any person from india viewing my web site "all about india" at xxx.x.x.xxx will be charged $1,000 us to my numbered account in the alps. after i creat a virus/ pop-up that redirects you to this site. really what would happen if india started makeing pop-ups that went to ther site just to get the money
so i work in a call center with hundreds of computers. Just a thought but anyone got some software to allow me to use theam all to start a dos army --- not that that would me anymore morally right than what they want to do but, I figure if someone startes a list of the ip's of all the bad guys (music spam pop-up sites) we could all tack turns sending out packets to theam. would that be legal, 1,000 of people just coincedendly pinging the same server at the same time. sounds good in theory and i dont think it is illegal but let me know and hey if anyone has the site to start posting these ip's let me know also tks
