Shooting down satellites is not that easy and if you think we can do it at will you are sadly mistaken. The satellite China shot down was so rigged in their favor that a situation similar in real life is extremely unlikely.
Space based weapons are our only real means effectively of targeting objects in space.

UNDYING.... seriously one of the scariest experiences I have ever had. Playing alone and in the dark I would find myself thinking "I have GOT to get out of this freaking house..." Only to later realize I simply had to turn off the game. Movies can scare but never on the same level as Undying. I was stressed out almost from start to finish.
As the final insult to all this is the sentence "We therefore request that you...the possibility of creating a similar database of PCI Vendor ID numbers which WOULD BE AVAILABEL ON THE OFFICIAL PCI-SIG WEBSITE"(emphisis added).

Actually, the Price Watch site is slightly misleading. If you actually look at the cards being offered at the low price end (For the 9700 Pro's) they are not the high end models, they actually are only the 9700's (minus the pro). The Pro's are still around $300.

I absolutly hated that people were laughing at Gollum. Come one, he was a tortured soul. All I saw was pain and suffering. Just because it's CGI doesn't make Gollum = JAr JAr. There might have been a scene or two that MIGHT have been a little bit amusing but come on... The best comedy this season... You really missed the boat, and I don't think you were alone.
In Search of Schrodingers Cat is a fantastic book. It's great for beginers. As Merc Monnie said, Schrodingers Kittens is more up to date, but I would read that first. Schrodingers cat give a lot more detail then kittens, even though some of cat's ideas are dated.
I love it how people avoid any REAL discussion of events and possibilites by simply calling someone PARANOID.

Q is for quantium is another great book by this author.
I really can't say too many good things about Mr. Gribon, he really sparked my interest in the quantium world.
