    I prefer to test software before I pay ... and pay for what I use. And I prefer Open_Source software. Most (freeware) coders respect this preference and will accept a check -- though Lemon vis' Proxomitron actually refused. I respect that.

    But money walks, long as your mama no longer washes your underwear. Better ... through a formal mechanism ... I send $50 to UBUNTU_starving_coder now, than wait 2-years and pay TUX-0-$oft.

    Problem is, when quantum theory fails to display the same "limiting values" observed in macro-phenomena. Those also are experimental results. It may be no accident, that QM cannot predict masses of common particles, and in fact has trouble finding "mass" at all.

    For a value-sensitive builder the issue always is CPU+mobo+hf performance/cost. AMD competes very well here with the Core-duo chips, as frisky AMD mobos are ~$75 cheaper than C2D mobos. Valuewise, I'd bet the AMD6000+ with an ASUS-m2nx burns some Intel fur.
