Was it suggestion, poll, focus group?
I'm going to go check this out to see if they missed anything. Like the, when you map a drive, and WE has to keep polling till it eventually freezes. I hate that.
I have done a few cleans where the spyware has gotten to 500+ program files etc, and removing them caused SERIOUS system corruption forcing a format>reinstall. Of course everyone blames you, but in this case, they would mount some kind of lawsuit against Dell for recommending the removal.
I actually blame stupid people.
It isn't ignorance. If you can prove that your computer was part of a DDOS unbeknownst to you then they can't hold you accountable. If they could, then we could all turn around and sue M$ for allowing the hold to exist in the first place.

You would think they would have included a WMP link. Guess they are trying diversity without favoritism? Having boycotted those two choices, I guess I'll have to wait till their sponser raises an eyebrow.
This might be flamebait, but I think this is a great opportunity for someone to develop a full function solution on a powerfull handheld like the IPaq (I know noone wants to support Carly and her Indian outsourcing bandit friends, but whatever works) The power and memory on one of these is much higher then any simple calculater can hope to accomplish, and the display is color and LCD...
Sell the secret to the highest bidder, (if it is an energy discovery, careful who you talk to because there are some individuals with 'energy interests' around;) letters fckgw come to mind)
Then let them deal with it. If humanity plunges into chaos, chances are the most intelligent individuals will survive.
