    I would agree with this, except I get spam that is not an apparent advertisement for anything. I suppose it is just a test to see if the address bounces, but still, I can't understand why I get so many like that...

    Are you sure you are not viewing an e-mail with multi-part/alternate and a blank text and a real html part?

    If you would RTFA you would notice that they are doing this to study learning patterns and advise teachers on what they are doing wrong. Advising CEO's on what they are doing wrong usually ends in somebody getting fired

Thus Zeno's paradox can predicty the difference in distance for a time f(n)=Sum(k=0-->n of k*(1/2)^n), but f(n) has a range of [k,2k). But it IS possible to exceed that range and consider the situation at time 2k (when the Tortoise moves along) Why did it need to be reviewed?

    statistically speaking, the probability that the popular vote went to bush is MULTIPLE orders of magnitude less than the probability that the Florida count went to Gore. Two thousand votes in a state or half a million votes in a country. riiight. Error rate would probably be fairly consistent (or more likely in FL, adding weight to my point), meaning that your argument about uncertainty in the popular vote is just a pile of shit.

    and you thought cross-site scripting was bad? now we have executables getting copied to your computer from god knows where (read 10 layers down in the dependency tree). now you have to worry about not only what program you are running, but every program it claims to depend on (etc, etc.). one word: ouch.

    easy solution: remove your code and give the community back an all GPL version. eventually that section will be replaced. meanwhile all you have to do is IMMEDUATELY stop selling the linux distro (this is what SCO did NOT do). you can go on selling your own code just fine.

    uhh you can't put a different license on Linux. the code is GPLed. even if there is a non-GPL portion, that cannot be linked into the kernel with a non-GPL license due to the GPL's rule about derivative works (the compiled file MUST be GPLed. oh wait it can't. thus you can't compile and add non-GPL code to get a non-GPL output
