    OR parents are giving large cash allowances and not making their children accountable for how they spend them.

    technically email is already p2p as it goes between peers which are mailservers until it reaches its destination at which point the intended recipient acquires it from the final destination peer.

    In fact this is how most of the internet works although we call them servers rather than peers the concept is equivalent(sp).

    And that is because time is money. I can change the oil in my car.. total cost $10 for oil and filter, 1+hour of my time, and disposal of hazmat.


    or I can pay $15 and have someone else do it in 15 minutes... 45 minutes of my time is worth way more than $5.

    Not IME, I have two boxes, running professional, xp and 2k. the 2k box is a 300mhz celery with 256M ram and a hardware raid 5. the xp box is a 1700 athlon with 1.5G ram. skipping the memory test the 2k box gets to login twice as fast as the xp box.

    Actually IIRC you can accurately compute longitude with a sextant at night, however it would take several hours and was nontrivial.

    This is only a good idea if the court has included a caveat stating that the records will be opened if SCO is demonstrated to be perpetuating fraud

    And since IBM is the opposition, I'm certain that they will come up with some way to require this...since they love linux so much.

    I am a Christian, and I've known kids who lived in homes and those Christians are fools...

    And Further, I would say that we all suffer when delinquent children stay in homes... because even the best homes breed delinquency.

    The 6.5 billion people living today could be given 1 acre each and live comfortably although simply in

    US--9,629,091 sq km * 247 (conversion factor from sq km to acres) =~2.37 billion acres
    Canada--9,220,970 sq km * 247 =2.27 billion acres
    Australia--7,617,930 sq km *247=1.88 billion acres
    6.52 billion acres
    Sizes taken from Cia factbook...

    Now granted some of that area is not easily populated, but it is still less than 1/4 of the worlds land area so...

    So the theory that we are overpopulated and do not have enough resources to feed ourselves is quite simply a myth...

    Two receipts, one marked "COPY" printed after the printed one is deposited... along with an option to print a "fake" with "Copy" on the top with either for those who are threatened into voting arbitrarily...

    and in a recount those marked copy would not be counted...
