I like this idea. Using video game engines has potenial. I mean things like sim city could definately be used. Other things such as quake or Counter-strike could be used for classes such as physics. It could be used to show how motions and forces work, when variables are set at different levels. I thought movies would also make great teaching aids too, something that will get students interested in what is being taught. Lastly all the flashy graphics games could be used for animation. Oh yeah playing games themselves help sometimes. Like for political type class games that involve diplomacy such as Solar Empire are good. FOML
Forgive the stupid title. Anyways this is definately one of the better movies I've seen. And also probably the top(or close to it)animated movie. This is definately a step forward. It has great animation, its target audience is adults, and keeping with the theme of the movie, its downloadable. After all there is nothing like using a computer to a movie about computers(machines).
This is what I have been waiting for. They finally decide to create something worthwhile. Maybe the media company will also lower the price of CDs along with this. I mean, come on 15-20 dollars for a CD thats a rip.
Well they wouldn't be at fault for the DOS attack, though it could cause one. It would be blamed on thousands(okay maybe fewer) people who sent the spam. And I think as it is they won't really need to get people to forward spam since they posted the e-mail address on this site.

I for one am glad to see that this man wasn't punished. He saw a vulnerability checked it out, and alerted the people(I hope I have that right). If anything the man should be thanked. What if someone malicious had come along. If they had things could have been bad. Because of this vulnerability with Wireless networks, I choose to keep my home network hardwired. Now I just wish that guy with the laptop outside my house would realize I don't have a wireless network and go away.
The United States is a Democratic Republic. This means we elect people to speak for us in hopes that they have the same belief as us. However it seems to me that as these people are now in office, they don't listen to us, but rather do what they think is best for us. From democracy to democratic republic. Next we will change to a republic. Then to dictatorship. Keep in mind this is an extreme, but with all these new acts that are being passed, it seems that is what the politicians want.
Lets see here a computer made with DNA and enzymes. This would be technology close to creatures. Then we give it an artificial intelligence so it can do work for free. Sounding familiar yet? If not then here is what could happen. They revolt, huge war, and we end up as batteries. And then we won't have to worry about doom III because the world which we are plugged into will be before Doom III. Wait, maybe doom III is a conspiricy, by the machines? Okay maybe not.
Wow, just about everything under one topic. Linux, AMD, and Intel. So by this we are going to have 64-bit processors soon, is that what I'm hearing? Or will this turn out to be like most computer issues and come out a few years from now?

I can not agree with you more. I have always thought America a free nation, and since WTC I have started to think I was wrong. People are now willing to give up the things that this country was founded on. I am ashamed of the people that think this way. New acts (USAPatriot Act etc.) were created right after this incident. They take away some of rights and in return we get "Protection and Security." People think we should monitor religous groups and Muslims, I say they are wrong. Not all Muslims act like the people who took down the twin towers. There are just as many other people of different, race, religion, and creed who might do the same thing. Stereotyping is bad. It gets us no where. This whole 9/11 thing was blown out of proportion, no offense to those that lost their lives, but they died and we repay them by taking away rights that they had, so now their children won't. If America stays on its current course, two things will happen, 1) America becomes a dictatorship[I do not want to see this] 2) Revolution, this would also suck, I think the government needs to re-evaluate itself, as it is this country is slipping away from being ruled by the people, and instead is being ruled by large corporations.
