    Don't think for a minute that he actually "gets it". As a member of the official opposition his opinion becomes the exact opposite of everything the government says. If the Alliance ever won an election they'd be jumping in bed with whatever lobbiest was paying the most, just like any other politician.

    I love macs, I used to have one, but it drove me completely insane. Everything either doesn't work, or is a little bit harder, or is a little bit slower. The continued promises about how everything will be fixed in the next version of the operating system just add insult to injury. Mac people can give hundreds of arguments about why this isn't the case. I know, I used to be one.

    Oliver Sack's recent memoir "Uncle Tungsten", goes into great detail about his and his friends experients with various metals and gasses. Apparently dangerous chemicals were easy to come by for a boy in 1950's England.
