While nearly half the RAM being consumed without actually doing anything useful may be concerning it's not actually a big deal. Microsoft claim that Windows 7 (and Vista too, but its success is arguable) pre-loads parts of programs it expects you to use.

Unused RAM is not doing anything for you.

Hi, I didn't how else to contact you but I was hoping you could point me to a specific code example I saw on your "Table Oriented Programming" geocities website. I found it a long time ago but now I just can't seem to track it down. It was showing how complicated OOP could be by designing a class to print out the names and slogans of different OS's (BSD, Linux, Windows NT, etc.) I think it moved from a simple if-else statement to many class types and polymorphism. Also, are there any TOP books or websites you reccomend? -Thanks

Hopefully, the original poster learned something from my correction. If I was speaking in Spanish I would love for native speakers to correct me.

I admit that English is a fluid language, making it awkward to correct authoritatively. Heinlein dropped the use of "the" in the book The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress. However, this style is non-standard and I think it is jarring for native speakers. Anyone learning English would be advised to learn the proper use of articles.

    You're just a jerk.

That would be absurd. No sane person who is anti-abortion would be against a woman getting her toungue pierced. The issue is that some people feel that an unborn baby is just as much a human as anyone else. If you feel this way then it is obvious that you wouldn't consider a baby to be just part of a woman's body and the killing of unborn babies wrong just like it would be for killing a fully grown person.
