File sharing is stealing money out of these poor people's pockets! Why, if there was no file sharing, Matrix: Revolutions would've made a lot more than it's paltry TWO HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS (so far).
Sounds cool, but why only 24 hours? If there's one thing people want these days, it's not to be bound to any arbitrary schedule. It'd be cooler if they could allow you to have, say, five movies at a time "checked out", with no time limit. Then it'd be like NetFlix, but without the mail:)
If technology firms like Sony and Microsoft have their way, songs and movies will expire after a single play...
Have either Sony or Microsoft actually said anything to that effect? I've heard talk of restricting use to the original owner, preventing copying, etc etc, but one PLAY??
