Most of the good heartly case-study code was included
I actually found this fact to be kind of cheap - my school got us review books with all of the case study code plus explanations and background and such. I think that actually gives some students an advantage if they can afford the AP prep materials. They should give a different case study each year or something that's released at teh test not before.
The appendices really are a great help...no need to learn the Java spec for any class you'll need...it's all right there!
A friend of mine actually did this to his car - he put a gas-oil mix in his windshield washer fluid reservoir because it was the same color blue and was being stored in a gallon jug (not the best place to store it). It ruined the paint on the hood and nastied up the widnshield. So I hope that they don't actually put this into production, for the car's sake - what might it do to the plastic body?
this would do nothing but piss off those people who cannot fight the spam. only the "ubergeeks", who already know about the spam, would be able to fight/hunt/track the spammers, and this tactic would be mostly useless.
but thers 2 probs with this:
1. lose the card/cd/etc and you are entirely screwed
2. it would require all phones, pdas, computers, etc to be redesigned/updated to include the reader/writer component - not an easy or cheap thing to do across the board
what about when this profile gets accessed by someone else? someone is bound to figure out how to spoof usernames and get another user's profile, giving them full access to all your information! now doesnt that sound like fun? it takes identity theft to a new level when your entire identity is on a network.

its mentioned along with some other popular japanese arcade games. its an interesting read, if short.
if its running windows (as it probably will :) ), the 'blue screen of death' will be so much more literal.

the show was pretty good, but that doesnt really mean that the game will be any good...it will probably be dry and stupid.
its only possible value might be the 'laugh factor' at its inane stupidity, which may hearken back to the ultra-high-quality simpsons games.
