I agree, but i find that the most annoying thing is that IE still won't correctly render COMPLIANT HTML/CSS correctly, so unless you want to have 90% of the people that look at your site complaining about the way it looks, you have to either:
a) Create a much more limited website, without some of the stuff you want to add
OR
b) Create a website with completely BROKEN HTML/CSS so that IE can render it correctly
In summary, the problem doesn't neccessarily lie in the fact that certain sites "only" render in IE, but rather that certain sites WON'T render in IE...
LOL, ya... but its surprisingly hard to block... without a *serious* firewall.
Tools like Proxytunnel and Corkscrew allow you to use an HTTPS proxy server to connect to an ssh server running on port 443... so even most paranoid firewall configurations (no incomming, the only outgoing being http/https traffic, and even then through a proxy server) will allow you to connect to external ssh servers, and from there you can tunnel away.
I have a completely different POV...
Absolutely EVERYONE i know uses MSN exclusively, and its impossible to get them to switch...
hopefully, my linux client (aMSN) will be able to access the network after Oct. 15, but who's to say for sure...
Everyone likes to bring up the Hindenberg when talking about hydrogen, so, i'm going to copy and paste this little snipet from the Pheonix Project's Hydrogen FAQ.
"Of the 97 individuals on board, only 35 people died, and 33 of the victims died because they jumped out of the airship while it was still more than 100 feet from the ground - and they died from the fall. The two people who were actually burned to death were burned not by hydrogen that was virtually gone by the time the Hindenburg hit the ground, [but] by the Diesel fuel that was carried in large fuel tanks and used to power the Hindenburg's Mercedes Benz engines. Diesel fuel, which is a hydrocarbon fuel like gasoline, will stick to skin and clothing like glue and literally burn off an individual's skin. Most individuals do not survive this highly painful experience."
I disagree,
I myself listen to ALOT of indie music, and finding these songs on a p2p service takes alot of time and effort, but, finding and waiting for CD's takes even more time, and so, for now, i stick with p2p.
If i could easily pay $1 for a song that I like, without DRM, and be listening to the song a minute later, it would be worth it, and i don't think i'm alone on this one.

Everyone knows that Spams actually originate from the anti-spam companies themselves, so that they can keep themselves in business... ;)
;)
:P
What I find disturbing is that they completely stole the idea from the Anti-Virus companies.
I Smell a Lawsuit!
